Now that the summer is coming a Crochet Bikini seems to be an excellent project for this time of the year.
It may seem difficult but it can be made simple!
Following through on my first crochet project and using the same crochet stiches as the ones used there, I decided that my second project would be a Bikini! A bit ambitious but not as daunting as it appears to be and I did manage to accomplish this second project!
I did not follow any one Tutorial, but made my own Bikini based on various Tutorials I researched online, as I was I limited to the double crochet and chain stich! For the Bikini to be solid I used 100% Cotton Crochet Thread yarn or Lace yarn in the Color Dark Blue and used a 2 mm crochet needle.

As explained being lmited in the crochet stiches I knew I did not have a fixed pattern just knew I wanted to make a crochet Bikini, and thus went online to help me with my task!
And for this I would like to thank the following Youtube Channels: Yarns and Fins & Simply Angel Tiah & WB Knitting Below are direct links to the video tutorials I used from them:
For the Top part of the Bikini I used these Tutorials:
For the Bottom part of the Bikini I used these Tutorials:

And this is the result:

Project Checklist
Yarn – 2/3 100grs of 100% Cotton Crochet Thread yarn or Lace yarn in the Color Dark Blue
Hook : 2 mm
The only stiches you must know to start this project are:
Slip Knot
Chain
Double Crochet
For help on these stiches you can search online but please feel free to visit my Pintrest here: Pinterest Life Inspiria.
TIPS: Basically, I whatched the Tutorials for the Top and Bottom parts of the Bikini and when adding the ends of the Bikini (TOP and Bottom) made them a bit sturdier and a slightly high wasted by adding 3 Rows:
Row One: Double Crochet stich all the way!
Row Two: Double Crochet Stich then Chain one, skip one and then a Double Crochet Stich on the next
Row 3 Double Crochet stich all the way!
For the measurements I suggest you try the Top and Bottom on as you are working and stopping when you feel comfortable with the size, however the links above do mention sizes.
Basically, the same two alternating stiches used to make the Poncho, you can see here: PONCHO MEIA ESTAÇÃO | CROCHÊ (youtube.com) for the 3 extra rows I did.
As you may notice the Bikini was lined but this was handmade, basically you cut the pieces and sow them on to the Bikini by hand, this was not done by me, I will be trying out sowing but not just yet.
As mentioned, I am not a crochet designer and so always turn to video tutorials of other people, to help me this time it was:
